Description
These are contoured scales for the Para 3 Lightweight model from Spyderco. Thes scales have been re-designed with CNC machined G10 liner inlays for stiffness and feature accuracy. They maintain the knife’s super lightweight design while adding a whole lot of style and color. You no longer need the metal liner on the left scale. These scales utilize an additional Phosphor-bronze washer (included) for the right scale. Pick your favorite texture and customize it with your initials, fancy colors, or a picture of your mom. After you place your order, we will ship you the scales along with a customized bead to match!

Material: Nylon PA12
Thes scales are additively manufactured on an HP MJF 580. This is NOT a consumer grade desktop 3D printer like you have probably seen most often. This is a powder bed fusion industrial machine that produces high quality parts in engineering grade polymer with near invisible layer lines and in full color too! With these machines, we are a part of a colorful future of bespoke manufacturing.
PA12 is a durable nylon that has low water absorption. Nylon is also the base material in FRN (Fiber reinforced Nylon). Durability is similar to FRN but not quite as stiff without the fiber reinforcement. It won’t shatter but it may scuff or dent over time with very heavy use.
Warranty
We warranty all of our products 100% for 1 year against manufacturing defects and anything that is not “wear and tear” under normal use. We do quality checks on each set of scales to ensure they meet our tolerance specifications. That being said, the industrial 3D printing process we use is advanced, complex, and can occasionally be prone to cosmetic and other errors.
